Many have heard about the Stimulus bill from Obama, the progress on which is shared through the much advertised web site Recovery.gov. What many people may not realize is that this site is based on the Open Source CMS - Drupal.
Drupal has been used in the political arena for quite sometime. In fact it was used by Howard Dean as DeanSpace initiative long back.
You will see that interestingly the site does not use CleanURLs as you still see ?q= type of URLs. This is a good boost for the Open Source work.
